Miami Little Theatre will be performing Arsenic and Old Lace on October 21st to the 24th.
This is a comedy that takes place in the 40's about two sweet sisters who take pity on their lonely guests and put them out of their misery out of the goodness of their hearts. When their nephew Mortimer, a playwright, finds out the fun begins. Between his aunts, a brother who thinks he's Theodore Roosevelt, another one who needs to change his appearance, and a soon to be wife, he has his hands full.
Just in time for Halloween!!!
We need two "elderly" ladies, a young woman, and around 11 men.
Auditions will be Aug 29th at 2 pm and Aug 30th at 6 pm at 117 N Main in the Miami Little Theatre building.

The Wizard of Oz Cast List
Please be sure to check the cast list carefully as some cast members have been cast in multiple roles. More than 35 adults and almost 70 children auditioned for the show. We wish we could have cast everyone; however, the Coleman Theatre stage is only so big. If you were not cast, please do not think it was due to a lack of talent. We encourage each of you to come and audition for any of the other MLT productions scheduled this year. Please contact Pamela Catt @ 918-533-4683 no later than Sunday, July 18, to let her know if you accept your role in the production. David Froman
After a courageous battle with cancer, David passed away on February 8th, 2010. Some may know David from his successful acting career, starring in shows such as Matlock, Hunter, and The Edge of Night. To others, David was our teacher, mentor, husband, father, friend and more.
With MLT, David starred in The King and I, Miracle Worker, Fiddler on the Roof, and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof--- just to name a few! David was also an inspirational and talented director, as evidenced in what is widely regarded as "the best play experience ever" by everyone involved
with Rumors.
Our deepest sympathies go out to David's family for their loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
A public memorial will be held for David on Friday, February 12th at 2:00 pm at the NEO A&M Fine Arts Auditorium.

New Building!
We are now in the process of moving into our new location, just across the street from the current Miami Little Theatre on Main street in Miami. We've been looking to have a place where we had enough room to rehearse together, store our plentiful supply of stuff, and perhaps even serve as a small theater in the near future. It's a LOT of work transferring everything to it's new home but we can't wait to officially move in. We're excited about what the future has in store for us!
